The emotions of music will set the tone for the memorial. GlimpseBack.com was not developed to become another list of death notices or to repeat obituaries. It is a growing memorial that depicts ones life and lifetime.

About the music — We encourage you to choose music which reflects the life of the person - rather than elevator music. Musicians of all genres, are welcome to participate by creating their own Musician Account and uploading their music for you to include in the pages of the memorial.

Choose any music that will compliment the users experience, rather than over power the site. Strong lyrics, heavy beats will cause visitors to "mute" the audio / speakers.

If you are a Subscriber who is selecting music for the memorial, please keep in mind that sad music encourages sadness and mourning. We suggest using music that is on the upbeat side, however reflecting the person and persons life in which the memorial will honor. As a Subscriber, you are the administrator to the memorial and you may CHANGE the music selection at any time.
